In this edition, get introduced to C.Y.P.H.E.R.! Learn about our mission, goals, team, and the work we’ve done and hope to do with our growing network of community partners like you. You’ll also dive deeper into Youth Speaks, our blog that publishes work by our team members. This month features a former CYPHER researcher, Derick Agyenim-Boateng.
Finally, each month will include a “Research Corner” that explores current research, literature, and work on topics pertinent to our work with young people of Color. We’ll break down ideas you can apply to your professional lives and provide resources for educators and other youth-focused practitioners. This month, we highlight the value of centering youth in healing, empowerment, and activism.
